My Review

Waiting in the Wings offers honest advice and insights. While the book highlights Tiffany's experiences related to Broadway performing, those seeking success in other performance roles such as film or theatre acting will also find much helpful information. From talking about life on Broadway to auditions and agents to understanding the terms used in the business to accepting yourself and avoiding scams, the author gives a wealth of realistic views, real-world tips, advice, and details that newbies may not have considered.

I love the author's writing style. As a parent of two daughters signed with agents, actively seeking modeling and acting opportunities, I loved the layout and flow of this book. I wish I had read it when the girls began to show interest in the industry. The author writes in an easy-to-read, authentic style that doesn't sugarcoat reality nor discourage dreams!

Would I Recommend Waiting in the Wings by Tiffany Haas? Waiting in the Wings is the perfect book for those seeking careers on Broadway or other paid performance roles. I think it is a must-read, especially for parents of child performers. The insider advice and tips are so valuable and realistic. As a parent of child performers, I truly appreciated seeing the author's parents weigh in with their perspectives!
